The design problem was to create a beverage company based off of a town called Viroqua in Wisconsin. The town has a beautiful river where two mountains meet which was the setting for the Battle at Bad Axe between the United States Army and two Native American tribes.
The idea was to focus on the shape and color palettes of the historical event. The two triangular shapes focus on the unique positive and negative spaces in the actual landscape of the Bad Axe River and their mountains. The colors pay tribute to the Sauk and Fox tribes as well as the United States Army. This historical beverage can be found in the town's ever growing industry of local bars and restaurants where it gives back every dollar sold to further promote financial growth in the town.
